Hello! My name is Lauren Hummel. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a reading license addition from Indiana University in the Spring of 2014. I am so excited to be starting my third year teaching at Promise Road Elementary! I am so grateful to be part of such a wonderful school family. 
      I was born in Anderson, Indiana, but moved to Fishers, where I currently reside, when I was 2. Growing up I was always working with children and eventually worked as a nanny for 7 summers before graduating college. I have two dachshunds named Rocket and Bentley. They love playing outside and going on walks. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, reading, cooking and baking, and staying active.
